I could also call you, fax you, send a telegram, strip-o-gram, smoke signals, semaphore you or write you a postcard, but it would still be very insular and opaque to everyone interested in the subject matter(s). ;)

It may just be my opinion, but I think if one publishes and opines on them there internets, one should support a global open conversation and enable transparent dialog and discussion.

A blog without the possibility to comment is<del>, in the famous words of Monthy Python, '...like making love in a canoe; It's fucking close to water!'</del> really rather thin.

Hi Alexander,

Nice of you to pop by. Thanks!

I totally forgot about that printer icon. Yes, I can remember seeing it everywhere - even in the slsk (Soulseek) p2p client.

Ok, you've inspired me to hold another <del>wildly unsuccessful</del> competition here on my blog. The person who can submit the weirdest spotting of the Plone printer icon gets a t-shirt in their size with signed Plone printer icon artwork on it! :)

BTW: When are you going to open up commenting on your blog? You have some interesting posts that I have some interesting comments on. However, your blog doesn't let me comment. I do not want to post comments on a blog on a mailing list. It's not the user's burden to adapt to foreign processes and having to step out of context. Further more, mailing lists are terribly insular. E.g. make your blog send the comments to the mailing list instead! Leave it all out in the open! Phew. That's my pet peeve. :)

The icon you have made that *everyone* seems to use is the Print icon in Plone. I see that icon in pretty much every web project. :)

Iconic design, literally!
